EducationXchange is the CTLE resource site where faculty can find a variety of teaching methods and learning strategies useful to 21st Century learners. The resources support learner-centered design in both online and face-to-face courses. Whether you are in the Teaching & Learning Excellence Program, working on your own to finish designing your courses, or just browsing for new ideas, you will leave this site with relevant information about learning.
EducationXchange is divided into three sections:
- Strategies holds an explanation of the HCC Learner-Centered Instructional Design Strategy that supports the HCC Strategic Plan Imagine 2019.
- Tools provides you with exciting ways to deliver your course content, from “must-knows” to cutting edge fun web tools. Need to know how to develop an official HCC syllabus? Look for information here. You can also find out why avatars are useful and learn how to add a 360o Learning Object to your online course.
- Resources has relevant readings, instructional design ideas, and links to free Open Education Resources (OER).
- Student Assessment & Counseling Forms
Many of the EducationXchange resources were collected from your peers here at HCC. If you have effective learner-centered teaching methods that you would like to be considered to be part of this collection, contact the HCC Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence at email@example.com
